I had no idea that I needed a puppy! I haven't had a dog in more than fifty years. However, I was at a very low point in my life. I was just coming out of a wilderness season. It was a time of aligning, chastening and correction. It's possible that I was even experiencing depression, and just didn't know what to call it. I just knew that there was something wrong.
I have no idea what made me call that day to ask about a friend's new litter of puppies. I surely didn't have money to buy one, or even a fenced in back yard. After a few texts back and forth, I was the proud mama of a darling little boy Cocker Spaniel. He was too young to leave his doggie mama, Daisy, but he was mine. I had two weeks to get ready for a truly life changing experience.
He just turned three in December. Oh, he gives the best life lessons and insights from his view of what is going on from day to day. You will laugh and sometimes you may cry, but he will bless you in ways that may surprise you. So join me and Charlie for a blog that's sure to make your day brighter.
For those who are already adoring fans and have missed his commentary, do your happy dance now, he's back!
